Long day in the lab

First, I woke up 15 minutes before I had to reach the lab at 9am.

Second, I realised I had to walk faster than usual because I take at least 30 mins to walk to school.

Third, I increased my speed even more because it came to my mind that you have to pass through many corridors, entering PIN codes after swiping the access pass along the way just to reach the stupid lab.

Fourth, I ended up finishing my experiment earlier than my partner who was there on time.

Fifth, the moral of the story is, "When you're running late, slow down your pace."

Haha, anyway today was really a tiring day, having to spend the whole 9am-4.30pm in the lab. But this is the last time I'm going to the lab until 11th Oct because my supervisor is going to Barcelona!! Woohoo... Today I did ELISA for the first time. It was pretty interesting, with many of the lab techniques that I've learned before being used, so that explains why I could finish the experiment before my partner does ^_^

Noticed it was pink at first, now they are yellow. Let me tell you guys why it is so. Because..... because.... I'm just such a talented magician ^_^

The lab areas have a very nice coffee area where we could eat our meals too... and I found a whole box of many different Lipton teas in it in the pantry.

Yups, and we can drink those for free haha. And because I'm Singaporean, I did the usual thing, I kop-ed some of the teabags and brought it back to my room, especially the unusual ones like "African Rooibos", "Persian Earl Grey", and "Russian Earl Grey". Russian Earl Grey smells exotic, but has a pleasant taste to it. Haha. Yumsss...
